So this weekend was pretty special and pretty spectacular. One of my dearest friends, Kayla, was proposed to and I got to capture the moment she said "Yes!" Bryan, her now fiancé, reached out to me a few weeks ago asking if I would be there to photograph the big moment. My immediate and sincere response was "I wouldn't miss it for the world."
I woke up early Saturday morning and made the trip down to Hershey, Pennsylvania. I got there early and sipped on a sweet, hot chocolate while I waited for them to make their way from lunch to the spot in the gardens of The Hotel Hershey.
There, under one of the garden's gazebos, Bryan showed Kayla a short video detailing all of the ways she has changed his life. He then dropped to one knee and presented Kayla with a marriage proposal, accompanied by a beautiful, heirloom ring!
I ugly cried through the entire thing. And I will ugly cry through their entire wedding. Just look at them! So precious! And seriously, the best friends ever.
After the proposal, we headed back to Kayla's home where she was surprised by family and friends! The entire weekend was a delightful celebration of love and friendship. I really can't wait for these two to tie the knot!
